September was “Friendship” month.
Friendship, the ability to make and keep friends, is a valuable and rewarding lifeskill. It’s difficult to imagine life without friends to share our ups and downs. Having a friend improves self-esteem, as well as the quality and enjoyment of life. In their classrooms, these students have learned about how to be a good friend by recognizing the qualities of a friend and practicing communication skills that improve peer interactions.
